As part of our Youth Africa Exchange Programme, for the first time Africa Unite received two young participants Lungile Nondumiso Lulane and Beula Sisi Dlamini from Swaziland to attend our annual human rights training weekend. These along with two other groups from Tanzania and Zimbabwe joined youth from South Africa, together with a group of American students from the University of Connecticut during the weekend training .
After the training the pair stayed with Africa Unite for a week where they had a chance to be involved in community work along with other Africa Unite peer educators. Contrary to other youth from
Tanzania and Zimbabwe who are staying for a period of a month, their stay in Cape Town was short but we hope that the training and experience they received in South Africa will be transferred in their country, Swaziland.
